Wolf Gap – East Coaster’s Virginia State Championship Finals

This 20 mile one lapper is a bonafied newly ordained classic, hatched in one of the great stongholds of world-class mountain bike riding and energy, the Shenandoah valley north of Harrisonburg.

The Dos Equis-C long march just adds more of this outstanding venue. This ain't no city park circuit race! Just check the map link below to be sure.

Race times:

XXC - 9AM
XC, all classes - 11AM

To get there:

• Edinburg is north of Harrisonburg along I-81
• Rt. 81 exit 279 Edinburg
• Travel West on Rt. 675 to Columbia Furnace - approx 5 miles
• Rt. 675 jogs right onto Rt. 42 for 100 ft.
• It then turns left off of 42 and continues along Big Stony Creek
• Follow Rt. 675 to Rt. 717
• Rt. 675 will turn off to the right where you see signs to Wolf Gap rec/camping area. Do not go there unless you are camping. The race will be staged at Liberty Furnace.
• Continue on the main road following the creek - Rt. 717 to Liberty Furnace Parking on the East side of Rt. 717 on Rt. 691

Registration is on Rt. 717 in a field. Signs will indicate where parking is acceptable. Please drive slowly on the back roads

Remember your bikes are on the car. Squirrelly driving hurts us all.
